Confirmed and the space agencies of Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine intentions in making space missile complex "Baaterec" on the basis of the missile "Zenit" was the signing of a joint protocol on the implementation of this project. According to the space agency of Kazakhstan "Kazakosmos" that Talaat Moses Nazarbayev head of the agency discussed with Vladimir Popovkin head of the agency, "Ross Cosmos" and Yuri Alexeyev head of the space agency Ukrainian cooperation issues and the prospects for implementation of the project making "Baaterk" at the airport in Baikonur cosmic was signed protocol in this regard.

 The meeting took place between the heads of the space agencies of the three countries in the framework of the meeting of representatives of the executive power bodies of the Commonwealth of Independent States held in Yevpatoriya (Crimea) to discuss issues of cooperation in this area. The agreement requires them to offer the Ukrainian Space Agency to "Kazakosmos" and "Ross Cosmos" proposals on cooperation in making "Baaterk".

Note that Ukraine, which produces missile "Zenit" is interested in using it in making system "Baaterk" space in order to strengthen their positions in the field of missile industry and expand cooperation with Kazakhstan in space.

 It is worth mentioning that it was previously scheduled to be making "Baaterec" using the Russian heavy missile "Angara".
